I like a good challenge…
by Jacob Juncker
A friend from church approached one Sunday morning wondering if I would like to try a hot wing challenge with her at a new wing place in town, Wings, Etc. Having completed the wing challenge at Quaker Steak & Lube a few years ago, I took this challenge along with the max dose of Tums. Here’s how it all went down…
I appreciate a good challenge. And, yes, sometimes my butt gets burned (figuratively and literally). But, in the end, the satisfaction of knowing that I accomplished the task (assuming it is a worthy task) is well worth the heat I have to take.
I like a good challenge. Do you? What challenges should we take together?
What challenges need to be taken now (in the church, in the community, in the world)?
The first challenge will be identifying the challenge and speaking up!
FYI: there is a Wings, Etc. in Plymouth, IN, not far from where my wife and I are moving in July. Anyone up for the “Wall of Flame Challenge” there?
